Pack Pet Foods, Inc. - Website
Eagle Pet Products, Inc... Pioneers In The 1980's... Leaders
Today As
a family-owned company that makes its own pet food, we
pioneered the holistic/whole-health approach to nutrition
in the 1980's. Custom supplements included kelp, probiotics,
the Science of Sequestering, OMEGA HEALTH™, yucca
and more. Today, these and other whole-health supplements
are added to our quality ingredients in all our cat and
dog foods. What makes a pet food a super premium and what
makes Eagle Pack different from the others? The brand
was the first to introduce an extruded, meat-based diet,
with no soy. And it made meat the first-listed ingredient. To
this highly digestible meat-based diet (we believe it
is the most highly digestible diet available) the company
then included custom supplements. These are ingredients
that contribute to the long-term health of the family
pet, or as we say, "Whole-Health Ingredients - Enhancing
Pet Health"™.The Holistic, Whole-Health Supplements
include prebiotics like beet pulp and inulin, yogurt type
probiotics, digestive enzymes, Omega 3 fatty acids for
Omega 6:3 balance, kelp, yucca, the 3 primary antioxidants,
glucosamine and natural preservatives. All Eagle Pack
diets contain most of these supplements. Recent introductions
also include fruits and veggies and organically grown
ingredients. Our family owned company takes pride in the
manufacturing of our pet foods. Employees are personally
involved in the world of dogs. They show, field trial,
and breed. Also, one of their staff is a former AKC Judge.
Many claim cats as members of their family. We believe
that pet owners are caring for their pets today as if
they were their children, and the Eagle Pack family is
happy to oblige. We make the food ourselves, in our own
plant, so quality is personally controlled. Eagle Pack
diets use human-grade ingredients, there is no beef in
the food and there are no pesticides used on the grains.Holistic,
Whole-Health ingredients and custom supplements in our
diets, plus strong consumer service programs and strong
trade programs, have earned us expanded distribution in
the United States and Canada, and in over 40 additional
international markets. The company is seeking international
distributors in world markets not yet covered. We offer
exclusive areas and contracts and the quality of ingredients
and supplements noted above. For international inquiries,
contact J.D. Cocquyt at jdcweb@eaglepack.com

Builders Supply - Website
Back
in 1952, Anchorage was a very different place than it
is today. The population had just passed 30,000 and the
intersection of Tudor Road (or 44th Avenue as it was called
then) and Minnesota Road was a dirt crossroads in the
semi-wilderness of Spenard. The Alaska Railroad tracks
ran nearby, however, the lifeline for most of the freight
coming into Southcentral Alaska at that time.
George A Lagerquist and A.J. Johnson selected this site
for the first Spenard Builders Supply, which opened with
three employees and sold primarily lumber and plywood.
In the 50’s and early 60’s Anchorage was experiencing
one of its “boom” periods in both the public
and private sectors. In particular, the military was expanding
its presence in Southcentral, which had begun in earnest
during the Second World War, and the population was growing
rapidly. In fact, the population would more than triple,
to over 90,000 people by 1962!
In 1964, the Good Friday Earthquake, one of the largest
recorded quakes in history, did extensive damage to SBS
facilities and much of the rest of Southcentral Alaska.
The store opened for business the next day, and helped
Alaskans rebuild their homes and lives. Only three years
later, disaster struck again as fire destroyed the entire
SBS facility, including warehouses, offices and inventory.
Once again SBS managed to open for business the next day
in two small salvaged cabins. The 70’s saw not only
the expansion of the Alaskan economy, but of Spenard Builders
Supply as well. The building of the Trans-Alaska Pipeline
in the mid-70’s brought a flurry of activity and
another population boom as Anchorage and the rest of the
state grew by more than 40% during the decade. Pipeline
contractors, businesses involved with producing oil on
the North Slope and those providing material and services
all across the state all fueled the economy.
Late in the 70’s and early 80’s Spenard Builders
Supply grew with the rest of Alaska’s economy. Lagerquist’s
two other Alaska yards, one in Anchorage and one in Fairbanks,
became branches of SBS, and several Superior Building
Supply yards were acquired from Palmer G. Lewis Co.. New
SBS yards were built in Eagle River and Sitka as the economy
topped out again in the mid-80’s, and was followed
by a recession of unprecedented proportions. The middle
years of the 80’s were tough for Alaska, as oil
prices fell, construction ground to a halt, banks failed
and thousands of homes were left empty as their owners
left the state. The population of Anchorage dropped from
a high of 248,000 in 1985 to a low point of 219,000 in
1988 before beginning to recover.
The 90’s have seen slow and steady growth as the
Alaskan economy diversifies. Retail, tourism, mining and
fishing have all played a part in this stabilization.
SBS has expanded in the 90’s to Barrow, on the Arctic
Ocean and Seward, on the Kenai Peninsula, and we now have
13 yards as well as three distribution centers, two in
Anchorage and one in Tacoma, Washington.
Spenard Builders Supply continues to play a role in building
Alaska, from remote cabins to big-city high rises, schools
to apartment buildings and everything in between. We can
design your kitchen, deck or truss roof, build custom
windows or countertops, and deliver to your job site,
no matter where, and all with the best brand name products
in the business. Our strength is our relationships with
our customers, and our willingness to “go the extra
mile” to get your job done.Spenard Builders Supply

Redmond, Washington. Lanoga operates 193 yards in 18 states
within four divisions, including Spenard Builders Supply.

Centers, which operate yards in the Midwest and Rocky
Mountain States, Dixieline Lumber & Home Centers,

Rigs - Website
You may notice some changes from past
models as we have seen the opportunity to improve our
products. We have a continuing program of experimenting
and testing. In our efforts to market the best equipment
for you, we receive input from several drivers including
DeeDee Jonrowe. If you don't see what you want, give us
a call.
Sleds: All sleds
are made of select grade white ash... we heat the shop
with the material that doesn't meet our standards. All
sleds except the Shadow recreational and toboggan now
come standard with graphite reinforced runners. Aluminum
brackets hold the stantions to the runners. This makes
the runners tilt when you flex the sled for better control
on corners. All bent wood except basket boards and toboggan
runners are laminated. Sleds come with QCR, bridal,
and wide brake. The only option is lashing the basket,
and handle height.
Rigs: All training
rigs are made of round tubing. There are no sharp corners
to tear up you or a dog. They have sturdy rub-rails,
T-bar steering, heavy duty handle grips, front fenders
and a 1-inch side rail on the standing platform so your
feet wont slip off.

Industries - Website
For almost 50 years, Polaris has been making machines
that not only take you out there, they offer you a way
out. A break from the routine. An escape from the ordinary.
A moment of freedom. Snowmobiles
came first in 1954 and quickly established a track record
for advanced engineering. All-terrain vehicles followed
in 1985, and since their introduction have set the standard
for performance and innovation. 1992 saw the arrival of
our personal watercraft and their unprecedented combination
of power and comfort. Then in 1997, the Polaris RANGER
was born, creating a whole new class of off-road utility
vehicles. In 1998, we introduced Victory Motorcycles,
and four years later turned the motorcycle industry up-sidedown
by launching the first factory custom-order program and
the sleek Victory Vegas cruiser. Now, Polaris is applying
nearly 50 years of engineering and design expertise to
a new line of commercial-grade utility vehicles and equipment:
Professional Series Workmobiles™.Of course, there's
more to having a great time than just a great ride. So
we also make Pure Polaris parts and accessories designed
to match our machines better than anything off the shelf,
and a full line of apparel and collectibles to stylishly
capture the spirit of Polaris. We even offer financial
services to make getting on our machines, and out into
the open, easier than ever.Today, we have over $1.5 billion
in sales worldwide, with engineering, manufacturing and
distribution facilities all across the Midwest, and wholly-owned
subsidiaries in Canada, Australia, New Zealand, France
and Great Britain. It's been a fun ride, but then, after
all these years, that's what we're all about.

Creatures Veterinary Clinic - WEBSITE
All
Creatures Veterinary Clinic, Inc. (“All Creatures”)
was established in 1984 by Dr. Joanne Rehn. Dr. Rehn began
the practice out of the back of her truck. When she opened
at our current location in June 1985, she had one veterinarian,
herself, and two support staff members, a technician and
a receptionist. The practice has grown over the years
to employ six veterinarians and 15 support staff. The
clinic building has also grown considerably with the first
addition of the reception and examination rooms finished
in 1995. The latest addition was completed in 2005 and
contains a spacious new waiting room and five examination
rooms. The parking area has also been expanded and now
contains ample room for employees and clients.
Over the years, All Creatures
has treated anything from horses to snakes. As the clientele
has changed, the practice found it necessary to discontinue
large animal services, and focus on dogs and cats. The
exotic animal portion of the practice has grown as well.
During the extensive Miller’s
Reach Wildfire of 1996, we housed as many as 75 animals
for people who were displaced from their homes. There
were dogs, cats, chickens, and even a llama housed here
for a short time. The staff donated many hours for these
animals. We also treated several of the burned animals
from the fire with great success.
We have been voted Number
One Veterinary Clinic in the Mat-Su Valley in the Frontiersman
poll for several years running. We have been listed
in Alaska Business Monthly as one of the top 50 women
owned businesses in the State of Alaska for 2004, 2005,
2006 and 2007.
All Creatures has been
an associate member of the American Animal Hospital
Association since 1996. We have provided free first
aid training to the Alaska State Trooper dog handlers,
and have annually proudly supported famous Iditarod
dog musher DeeDee Jonrowe.
